Since 2004 Benchmark has provided engineering and project management.  This work has typically been for smaller operators in the upstream sector. These operations involve lease construction, drilling, completions, workovers and abandonments.  Benchmark has worked in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and North Dakota.  This involves the upfront planning that involves detailed AFE’s, obtaining quotes and choosing services, constructing the lease, managing operations and all related submissions.

These operations have been in several different zones of interest.  They have also involved many different well designs.  These include vertical, directional, monobore horizontal and multi-lateral horizontal.  Most of these wells are for the production of oil and gas however Benchmark has managed projects for water injection, carbon dioxide disposal and mining operations.
